If you're looking for a delicious Italian restaurant in Baxter, Minnesota, then Baia Della Italian Kitchen is the place to go. We recently had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant twice, and both times, it didn't disappoint.
On one of our visits, it was our camp counselor's GW’s birthday, and we wanted to celebrate it in a special way. He suggested Italian food, and we thought that was a great idea. We headed straight to Baia Della, where they had a fantastic deal going on Thursdays: buy one pasta, get one free. We were also lucky enough to catch their happy hour, which included half-priced appetizers until 6 pm.
The restaurant was busy, but we managed to find a booth in the bar area. The waiter was friendly and recommended a couple of customer-favorite pastas, including the Penne A La Vodka and the Valle Nascota. We also got a bottle of Pinot Noir from an Oregon winery. It was a great start to a birthday dinner.
Shortly after we ordered, another group of six came in, and they were also celebrating a birthday (So you can say it was a party!). The pastas were both delicious, and as usual, we had some to take home for lunch the next day. With the Thursday night special, it's definitely a great spot to enjoy a good pasta meal.
On our second visit, we decided to try their Saturday Night Prime Rib Dinner, and it was simply amazing. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the sides were equally delicious. We couldn't resist taking some leftovers home for later.
Overall, Baia Della Italian Kitchen is a fantastic restaurant that you shouldn't miss when you're in the Brainerd Lakes Area. The food is tasty, and the service is excellent. If you're lucky enough to catch their Thursday deal, you're in for a real treat. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a great meal, Baia Della is a place you won't regret visiting.
