Exploring a new place is always exciting, and that's what we did one beautiful afternoon in the Brainerd Lakes area of Minnesota. Our Camp Nisswa crew decided to check out CC's Bar, a relatively new establishment that came highly recommended by some locals. And boy, were we glad we did!
As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff (PS - The owners are awesome!) and locals alike. The first thing that caught our attention was the stunning wood bar that exuded modern elegance and brightness. But what really stood out were the drink menus written on the walls with chalk - a unique touch that added to the bar's charm.
We were then introduced to the bartender, who walked us through the signature craft cocktails. And one of them, the Bacon Maple Bloody Mary, was an absolute game-changer. Made with Maple Bacon Shine, House blend bloody mix, and all the fixings, it was easily one of the best Bloody Marys we had ever tasted. Trust us, you simply must try it! Also, with your first drink, you have a chance to play their the Shake-A-Day game.
After our first round of drinks, we decided to explore more of the menu and ordered the Blackberry Lemonade. It was the perfect summer drink, made with Lemonade Shine, Blackberry Shine, lemonade, and garnished with lemon.
As we mingled with the friendly locals and bartenders, we learned that CC's Bar had only opened in 2021. Despite being relatively new, it had already become a favorite spot for locals who loved playing pool and darts. CC's Bar even hosts weekly tournaments, so make sure to follow their Facebook page for updates. And if you're a Minnesota Vikings fan, CC's Bar is an excellent spot to catch a game during football season.
But the fun doesn't stop there - CC's Bar also offers pull-tabs, meat raffles, live music, and karaoke. And we recommend keeping an eye on their Facebook page for updates on these exciting events.
Before we left, we couldn't resist checking out the bar's SWAG section and ended up buying some high-quality items. Overall, CC's Bar is a must-visit spot if you're in the Nisswa and Brainerd Lakes area. With its friendly staff, unique atmosphere, and amazing signature cocktails, you're sure to have a fantastic time. So what are you waiting for?
