On a recent trip to Hackensack, we finally had the chance to dine at Charng Thai. We weren't sure what to expect, as Thai food is not something you typically find in the Lakes Area. But after reading all the positive reviews online, we were excited to give it a try.
As soon as we walked in, we were hit with the delicious smell of Thai food. The restaurant was already busy with people enjoying their lunch, which was a good sign. We ordered the fried egg rolls (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) and the Drunken Noodles. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful, and the Drunken Noodles were perfectly cooked with a delicious blend of spices.We also ordered the Tom Yum Soup and Green Curry Soup. Both soups were flavorful and hearty, and the Green Curry Soup was especially good. It had a nice kick to it, but it wasn't too spicy.
Service was swift, and our dishes arrived promptly. To our delight, we devoured everything on our plates, leaving no room for leftovers.
Charng Thai Restaurant is a unique dining experience. You order from the menu by writing down what you want on an ordering sheet and selecting your level of spice. This is a great way to customize our meal to our liking, and it's also fun to write down our order instead of just telling it to a server.
The atmosphere at Charng Thai Restaurant is relaxed and casual. It's a great place to go for a casual lunch or dinner with friends and family. (Or order takeout if in a rush)
