We had the pleasure of meeting Grant, the passionate owner behind Red's Shaved Ice. With six years of experience working at Rafferty's Pizza, Grant decided to pursue his dream of bringing a unique dessert experience to Nisswa. He purchased a 1970s Airstream Argosy trailer and transformed it into a vibrant, welcoming space for his business.
What is Hawaiian Style Shaved Ice?
Hawaiian-style shaved ice is a delightful treat featuring a big scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom of a cup, topped with a mound of finely shaved ice and drizzled with flavored syrup. We sampled two of their popular flavors: the Bob Marley and the Strawberries & Cream. Both were incredibly delicious and left us eager to try more.
